Testing notes: Bouquet with intense and austere aromas of ripe fruit, cherries, plums, blackberries, almonds, figs and light notes of withering of the fruit with a finish rich in spicy returns. Dry, full-bodied, round, soft but still vibrant, the acidity, light, tannic (soft tannins), quite warm in alcohol and quite long final persistence.
First courses with braised meat sauces, stewed wild fowl.
